This is where it all begins, I was born in San Bernardino Ca on March 28th 1963. I have 1 sister who is 3 years older than me. When I was growing up all I wanted to do is play. I remember when I was old enough to get my first poster on the wall it read "If it's not fun it's not worth doing" my mom obviously knew something well before I did. I had a very normal (what's normal) childhood.

My dad worked 9 to 5 and my mom was home raising the kids. I started playing softball when I was in 4th grade. I lived for softball. I have no idea where I got my athletic ability because nobody in my family plays sports. My dad loves to fish so I was the one who always went along with him. I was definitely his little tomboy growing up. When we went on vacation that meant camping. I didn't go on my first plane ride until I was 20 years old. As I got older I started playing a lot of basketball. I couldn't wait to get to high school to play on the varsity team.

Yes, I made Varsity Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball team my freshmen year. What a jock I was. LOL In Volleyball I was a spiker (I could really jump) Basketball I was a guard and in softball, I was a catcher and third base men. Our team went to the CIF playoff every year.

Well just like any American family my parents got divorced when I was 14 years old. Man did I get rebellious. My dad ended up marrying my softball coach (boy that was weird) and my mom married a doctor with 3 kids. So now I have 3 step sisters. This was a pretty big turning point in my life because I was angry at my parents, my school started going down hill. I just made the grades so I could play Ball. The problem was I was going for a scholarship in sports to go to college. Unfortunately I did not go to college, my grades were not up to par.

I started working right out of school at a fast food restaurant I believe it was McDonalds. That lasted about 2 weeks, then I went on to about 5 other jobs of various types. I ended up in Pasadena working as an accountant for a small company. It was there I realized I couldn't sit all day, eat what I wanted, and stay thin. I was 20 years old when I first walked in the gym. I started bodybuilding a year later. I hired a private instructor, read every magazine I could and started eating healthy. Now mind you I was a fast food junky growing up. So this was a Hugh deal for me.

I entered my first bodybuilding show one year later. It was a local show, I won. I was hooked. I am so competitive I became obsessed with being the best. I entered about 2 shows a year, my goal was to go pro.

I got to the Nationals and placed third. It was that year I got Gladiators and stopped competing. See the bodybuilding section on all my shows and titles. When I got the Gladiators I had no idea what was in store for me. My life changed that very minute when I walked on that set. I was just a small town girl going into the Hollywood glamor life. I was lucky enough to travel all over the world and meet the most incredible people. Just for one, I remember being back stage at a Bruce Springstein concert and Tom Hanks walked up to me and said "hey you're Ice from that Gladiator show, I watch you whenever I can" that was so cool Tom Hanks watches me. Amazing! That same night I got invited to Bruce's birthday party. O.K. I was in Bruce Springstein's house with a lot of top celebrity's and Bruce takes me by the hand and says "Let me show you my gym" Man did I love being a Gladiator. This rocks!

When we weren't taping the show we did a lot of personal appearances all over the country. I got myself an agent and started pursuing the acting thing. My first show was "Who's the Boss". I loved being in front of the camera. I then wished when I was a kid I had known about this I would have started studying acting sooner. Who knew? I went on to show's such as "Ellen"," Louis and Clark" and many more. You can see my resume on the Television/Films section.

I then got asked to do my very own fitness video. Lori Fetrick's Power Workout. Now I have read a lot of reviews on my video. I have to say this in my defense, I never claimed to be a step aerobic instructor. I didn't want to do that, I had to. Hey, but I still have my own workout video that I love. It has an excellent weigh lifting section. Definitely something to watch.

I then was approached to design my own workout clothing line. It was called "Go Figure" I was in New York for along time helping to design this line. The company just did not have the resources to get the line off the ground. I then went on to writing my own book, "Pure Fitness" Body meets Mind. I wrote this in collaboration with a world renowned psychologist Robert Epstein. The book is fabulous and gets into how we see ourselves and how that image effects our everyday life. There's are great tips on working out, diets, and over all well being.

Well after the Gladiator's ended I went on to opening a gym in Orlando, Better Bodies. I couldn't wait to come home to Los Angeles so I sold the gym and came home. I then opened a tanning salon " South Beach Tan" I'm on the verge of opening my second one in Hollywood. I'm still pursuing the acting career, but it is a roller coaster ride therefore I have to make a living some how. Life is good. I'll have a separate section on all my animals, extreme sports, and friends & family. I now have to jump on my Harley Davidson and go to the gym. That is something I will do the rest of my life.

Talk with you soon. Lori
